It has been a bit, I guess ... Though Rich and I were having the most stimulating conversation over on your blog not so long ago.

B. Hippo Why is rabies so funny? Some of my favorite books as a kid had a rabies element. "To Kill a Mocking Bird" & "Old Yeller" come to mind. In "Old yeller" the cow with rabies always freaked me out.
I have a suggestion. Closed captioning.
Rabies is one of those things grownups are always scaring little kids with..."Don't touch that dead rat! You'll get rabies! & we'll have to tie you up in the yard like the dog so you don't attack the neighbors. & you'll be really thirsty & the sight of water will make you insane."
